You're Invited to Our AGM!

Young People Count Invites the Whole Community to Annual General Meeting

Young People Count (YPC) is a local youth organisation dedicated to developing and empowering our next generation. We want to extend a warm invitation to everyone in our community to join us at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to take place 7:00pm on 19th March 2024 at YPC, 17 Railway Street, Pocklington YO42 2QR. This will be a chance for real community engagement in what we are trying to achieve, an opportunity to hear the exciting things we have done and plan to do, and ask any questions of and make suggestions to the Trustees.

Over the past year, YPC has been on a remarkable journey, making a tangible difference in the lives of young people in our community. From providing secure spaces for growth and learning to offering engaging programs and activities, YPC has truly become a safe place where young people know they can be themselves, try new experiences and have fun.

At the AGM attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand about the organisation's achievements, challenges, and aspirations for the future. The AGM will feature engaging presentations, networking opportunities, and refreshments, providing attendees with a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share a desire to secure greater opportunities and a brighter future for own young through community action.

"We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive," says Katherine Barker, our manager and lead youth worker. "By coming together as a community, we can ensure that our youth have the support, resources, and guidance they need to reach their full potential.

Everyone is invited and no need to RSVP, simply mark your calendars and join us for an evening of celebration, information and inspiration.
