Thank You to City Health Care Partnership Foundation for Supporting Young People Count
Thank You to City Health Care Partnership Foundation for Supporting Young People Count

We are delighted to share that Young People Count has received a generous grant of £2,500 from City Health Care Partnership Foundation.

This funding is a real boost for our work with young people in and around Pocklington. As a small local youth charity, support like this makes a genuine difference. It helps us keep providing a safe, welcoming and consistent space where young people aged 11–18 can spend time, build confidence, take part in positive activities, and access support from trusted adults when they need it.

At YPC, young people are at the heart of everything we do. Our youth club is more than somewhere to go after school. It is a place where young people can cook, create, relax, talk, learn new skills, try something different and feel that they belong. For many, it is also an important stepping stone towards better wellbeing, stronger relationships and greater independence.

The grant from City Health Care Partnership Foundation will help us continue offering meaningful opportunities for local young people at a time when youth provision is more important than ever. It will support the ongoing running of activities, resources and safe spaces that give young people the chance to connect, grow and be heard.

We are incredibly grateful to City Health Care Partnership Foundation for recognising the value of youth work and choosing to invest in our young people. Their support helps strengthen the work we do every week and shows young people that their community believes in them.

From all of us at Young People Count — thank you.

What colour for YPC?

We are hoping to get a fresh lick of paint on the outside of YPC... A colour that stands out so people notice us and know where we are. Which do you think would suit us the best?
