One-off visiting volunteers

We've had the pleasure of hosting numerous one-off volunteers, each bringing their unique skills and experiences to enrich our young people's lives. These visits are a fantastic way to introduce our youth to a diverse range of talents and personalities, broadening their horizons. From skilled DJs spinning tracks to individuals sharing captivating sea shanties and stories, or professionals offering insights into their careers, these sessions are both educational and inspiring. Our one-off volunteers have also led engaging craft sessions, crafting pop-up cards and sparking creativity. These valuable interactions make our YPC an ever-evolving hub of learning and exploration.

Are you interested in visiting YPc?

If you have a unique skill or passion you'd like to share with our young people, we welcome you to join us for one or even a handful of sessions. Visitors don't necessarily need to have a DBS check; although existing checks are advantageous, they will always be supervised during their time with us to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We are particularly interested in individuals with computer skills ranging from sound and photo editing to programming. Crafters, professionals from various career backgrounds, artists, and anyone eager to inspire and engage with our youth are encouraged to get in touch. Your visit could spark new interests, inspire future career paths, and leave a lasting impression on our young participants. Join us in shaping a brighter future for the next generation.
