How you can help
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Young People Count receives some money from funders, local authorities and businesses. But this kind of funding isn’t guaranteed long-term and it’s often restricted, so we can only use it for specific projects.
Donating a small amount every month by direct debit helps us continue our work within the community. Our regular supporters help us carry out long-term work whilst new and one off donations help YPC to thrive and provide more opportunities to young people in Pocklington and surrounding areas.
We make sure that every penny you donate goes where it will have the greatest impact on our young people.

VOLUNTEERING
There are plenty of ways you can volunteer with Young People Count - no matter your age, background or experience – helping in our café bar, delivering activity sessions to young people, supporting them in developing their interests, manning reception, helping out with admin, IT, social media – anything you think you could contribute would be most welcome.
In return you’ll develop and enjoy new experiences, be part of a friendly and dedicated team. You’ll connect with your community, meet new people, learn new skills and share what you know whilst supporting this valuable community resource.
